EUROSAI WGEA WASTE SEMINAR,
10 -11 December 2003, The Hague

On December 10 and 11, 2003, the Netherlands Court of Audit hosted the third EUROSAI Working Group on Environmental Auditing seminar in The Hague. The subject this time was "waste". In April 2002, the Working Group chose "waste" as a new priority theme for its activities, which are focused on promoting environmental auditing and exchanging information between audit institutions.

The seminar was targeted at auditors of Supreme Audit Institutions in Europe, and aimed at giving them a sense of how to audit the many aspects of the theme in their own countries. Many audits that have already been carried out by European audit institutions were presented by the auditors themselves. Over 30 European countries participated in the meeting.
