Seminar: “The water sector reviewed: from lessons learned to new policies and strategies”, October 9-10, 2000, Wageningen, (The Netherlands) – seminar organised by the World Bank and the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The aim of the seminar was to discuss to what extent can the recently concluded evaluation in the water sector and outcome of the 2nd World Water Forum contribute to the formulation of new policies and strategies in the water sector. During the seminar the role and objectives of the INTOSAI Working Group on Environmental Auditing and the EUROSAI Working Group were presented. The international audit on the implementation of the Helsinki Convention as the example of the environmental audit initiated recently in Europe was also presented
