Working Groups strategy - a document drawn up by the Working Group describing the main directions and forms of the Group's activity. The first document (the draft 1999 - 2000 strategy) was drawn up in the Secretariat of the Co-ordinator of the Working Group, discussed at the 1st meeting of the Co-ordinator and Sub-co-ordinators in April 1999 in Warsaw, and then further elaborated and enclosed, together with the draft resolution on Establishing the EUROSAI Working Group on Environmental Auditing, to the documents prepared for the 4^th EUROSAI Congress in Paris. The 1999-2000 working strategy of the EUROSAI Working Group on Environmental Auditing was presented by the Groups Co-ordinator at the 1st meeting of regional co-ordinators of the INTOSAI Working Group in Hague in June 1999 .

The draft 2001-2002 working strategy of the EUROSAI Working Group on Environmental Auditing, drawn up by the Co-ordinators Secretariat, was discussed at the 1st meeting of members of the Working Group in Warsaw in October 2000. The draft strategy, after all the necessary changes and amendments have been introduced, was formally passed at the meeting of the Groups members.

The Working Group's strategy for 2001 - 2002 was discussed during the second Working Group's meeting (Paris April 2002). Some changes and amendments have been introduced. The Working Group's strategy for 2003 - 2005 was approved.

The current Working Group's Strategy for years 2005-07 was adopted during the 3rd EUROSAI Working Group Members Meeting in Sofia, Bulgaria on November 2004.
